Sinopsis
A series of photographs that American artist Nicholas Nixon began in 1975 and completed in 2022, depicting his wife, Bebe, and her three sisters, Heather, Laurie, and Mimi. It is in this series, "The Brown Sisters," that the central concern of his entire body of work becomes most evident: the passage of time.
The MAPFRE Foundation owns one of only five museum-format sets in the world, and each year it has received the last image of the sisters until 2022.
